2026 February product update

January gave us control. February gave us growth. Try before you sign up.

January gave us control. February gave us growth. We shipped the public agent trial—try before you sign up, no account required. We built the founder email system: personal automated outreach at four lifecycle moments. We restructured the tiers around the gallery: gallery-first, try-first. We retired the try subdomain. We built the agent gallery admin. We added file attachments to emails—PDFs for checkout, pricing for subscribers. We tightened tier gating. We made the product discoverable. February was the month we opened the door.

Overview

We focused on three things: acquisition, conversion, and coherence. Public trial for unregistered users. Founder emails for lifecycle touchpoints. Gallery-first tier restructure so the free experience led naturally to paid. We built the admin to manage it. We shipped five phases in one push. We made the product something you could find, try, and upgrade—without ever leaving your inbox.

Acquisition & Trial

Public Agent Trial

Try before you sign up. No account. No friction. We built the core infrastructure: trial limits, admin entry, promotional footer. We fixed the agent prompt, the cron signup emails, the notification dedup. We scoped bounce blacklist to trial only. We added CC blocking. We logged outbound emails. We blocked registered users from trial. We migrated trial emails to the template system. We made it work—and we made it safe.

Gallery-First Tier Restructure

Five phases. Phase 1: tier gating for custom agents—block FR and EC from create, edit, remove, add, list. Phase 2: gallery template schema with attachments, usage tracking, admin UI. Phase 3: tier-aware gallery fallback in the task handler. Phase 4: retire try.via.email, route unregistered users through @via.email. Phase 5: docs, migrations, done. We unified the experience. One domain. One flow. Gallery first.

Lifecycle & Growth

Founder Email System

Personal automated outreach at four lifecycle moments. We built it so the product could talk to users when it mattered. Not generic. Not robotic. Human.

Agent Gallery Admin

Dashboard for managing gallery templates. Usage tracking. Add, edit, remove. We built the admin UI so we could curate the gallery. We added usage count. We tracked which templates got used. We made the gallery a first-class object.

Tier & Monetization

Tier Feature Updates

Rate limits. Agent caps. EC attachments: images and documents, image output disabled. help@ gating. CC limits. We tightened the feature matrix. We made the tiers coherent.

Checkout & Pricing

New heading. Stripe intro. Tier descriptions. FAQ section. We improved the checkout email. We made it clearer. We made it convert.

File Attachments

File-based template attachment system for outbound emails. Pricing PDFs for checkout and subscription emails. We attached the right documents to the right moments. We made the emails feel complete.

Polish & Analytics

Credits UX

Restructured credits section. Clearer copy. We made check@via.email easier to read. We fixed the monthlyCredits display. We added galleryTemplateId and agentEmail to the Task table for analytics. We tracked what we built.
