Hey team,
We need to migrate the customer portal database from the old MySQL server to the new PostgreSQL cluster this weekend. The current server is hitting performance limits and customers are complaining about slow load times.
Basically we'll:
- Export data Friday night
- Set up new DB Saturday morning
- Test everything Saturday afternoon
- Go live Sunday if all looks good
The portal handles about 50k daily users and processes orders. Downtime should be minimal - maybe 2-3 hours max.
