End of year awards - need titles and citations for my class
Awards ceremony is next Thursday. Need personalized award titles and short citations for each student. Here are my notes:
3rd grade class:
Emma Liu - Always the first to help a struggling classmate. Organized our classroom library without being asked. Reads everything.
Noah Gutierrez - Came in barely reading at grade level, now reads two levels above. His confidence transformation this year has been remarkable.
Zara Okonkwo - Asks the questions that make the whole class think harder. Challenged my explanation of fractions and was right.
Liam Petersen - Quietest kid in class but his creative writing is extraordinary. His short story about a time-traveling goldfish made me cry.
Ava Nakamura - Class peacemaker. When conflicts erupt at recess she mediates better than most adults I know.
Oliver Chang - Struggled with math anxiety all year but never gave up. Started asking for help instead of shutting down. Major growth.
