Dear Riverside Families,
We hope this message finds you well as we settle into the fall season. We have several exciting updates and important reminders to share with you.
Fall Festival - October 28th
Our annual Fall Festival is just around the corner! This year's event will take place on Saturday, October 28th from 2:00-6:00 PM in the school gymnasium and courtyard. We still need volunteers for the cake walk, face painting booth, and cleanup crew. Please sign up through the SchoolLink portal by October 20th. Entry is free for families, and game tickets are $1 each or $10 for a book of 12.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Conference scheduling is now open in the parent portal. All conferences will be held November 6th-8th. Please schedule your 15-minute slot by November 1st to ensure your preferred time. Instructions for accessing the portal were emailed separately last week.
Field Trip Permission Slips
Third and fourth grade students have upcoming field trips to the Science Discovery Center. Permission slips were sent home in Friday folders and must be returned with payment ($15 per student) by October 25th. Students without permission slips cannot attend.
Lunch Menu Changes
Due to supply chain issues, pizza day has been moved from Fridays to Wednesdays starting November 1st. The full updated menu is attached.
Uniform Reminder
Please remember that students should wear closed-toe shoes only. Sandals and flip-flops are not permitted for safety reasons.
